From Nick and Emma’s wedding last weekend. This photo features Leah and Phil. Caught nicely against the light.

I was out photographing a pheasant shoot at Poughill when I saw this lovely Springer looking out of his owners wagon. We were having lunch and I think he fancied a morsel or two.

Just a small flower but packed with colour. Taken on a D-Lux 4 point and shoot camera in macro mode. It does show that nice pix can be taken with little cameras.

This shed is located at Rosemoor House in the gardens at RHS Rosemoor in Torrington, Devon. I just love the colour of the image which looks much better in the high resolution of the full size image.

We were wandering around the Jewish quarter in Prague, just next to the cemetery, when we spotted this young lad sitting there in the sunshine. It was some time before we walked past again and he was still there so I had to photograph him. I’m glad, as the image has stayed with me.

I was on my way to work driving along the A303 when I spotted a heavy mist off to my left near Mere. I pulled up into a lay by and fished the camera out. The grass was knee high and soaking with heavy dew but I ploughed on. In fact I ploughed on such that my I caught my leg in some low level barbed wire that ripped through my trousers and my leg leaving me bleeding profusely. I still moved forward though until I could get the angle I wanted. Having taken the photo I climbed back into the car and bled all the way to work.

What a hero!
